This year we carried out the Back-to-School project in Government School Mapanja ( 17 kids) and Government School Mokunda (10 kids) with a total number of 27 children.
Both schools already received 100% each for their Common Entrance Examination. We await the results for the First School Living Certificate Examination.

Back-To-School 2022; FAY registers the children for Common Entrance and First School Living Certificate Examinations
In February of 2022, Fako America Youths registered 15 Mòkpè kids from three different schools; Rosa Nursery and Primary School Mile 16, Buea, Little Linus Nursery and Primary School ( Little Lilies) Tiko, and Government School Kange Limbe III (Kange Fishing Port) Limbe. Rosa Nursery and Primary School and Little Linus Nursery and Primary School are both community schools that started due to the Anglophone crisis in the Northwest and Southwest of Cameroon, due to the separatist not wanting kids to attend government school. Furthermore, schools in villages near the ocean have many families that prefer fishing to education because it gives more income than education which is a long-term goal; for example, Government School Kange Limbe III.

Back-To-School 2021; FAY registers the children of Government school bonakanda
Education should be a fundamental right for every child. As a result, Fako America youths decided to help address the problem of illiteracy back home. In February of 2021, FAY registered thirteen children for the First School and Common Entrance Examinations from Government School Bonakanda, Buea Cameroon. Due to the ongoing Anglophone crisis back home, the children can’t go to school with their school uniforms to blend in with the crowd in case of an attack. Also, they can’t study in their original school buildings because it is in the interior of Bonakanda. Consequently, they were moved to the Bonakanda community hall. These children need our help. All our beneficiaries were both from the Bakweri tribe and other tribes.
Joins us as we continue to expand this program to more schools in other villages this upcoming year.
